No occupancy at the Healey Hotel

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey has sent a cadre of administration officials to the nation’s southern border to underscore the state’s ongoing migrant crisis.

“This trip is an important opportunity to meet with families arriving in the U.S. and the organizations that work with them at the border to make sure they have accurate information about the lack of shelter space in Massachusetts,” state Emergency Assistance Director Gen. Scott Rice, who’s leading the delegation, said in a statement.

No word yet on what this will cost the taxpayers, already overburdened by a government that prioritizes foreign nationals over its’ citizens.
